Changing springs is one of the three major categories of springs , and we should all know this. But do you know how to change the spring reasonably? What are the consequences of improper use of methods?

1. Change the improper use of springs

The application close to the tightness and the length will gradually make the spring line tightly close.   (2) Application without pre-twist The spring is distorted due to the space formed by the up-and-down vibration of the spring. If there is pre-twist, the spring is relatively stable.


  (3) The spring is used horizontally. When the spring is used horizontally, the guide pin and the spring will wear and crack.


  (4) The use of non-spring support, such as the use of dance spring support, is very simple to form the distortion of the bottom of the spring and the body. The high pressure of the distortion part is the main cause of the spring crack. Please use the inner diameter. Guide pins or outer diameter guides and other devices.


  (5) When the flatness of the mounting surface is poor, the spring will be distorted when the mounting surface is poorly parallel. Some high-pressure cracks will occur, and the spring will be distorted when the parallelism is poor. Please improve the parallelism of the mounting surface without exceeding 300,000 cycles. Mold spring


  (6) If the inner diameter of the spring and the gap between the guide pin and the guide pin are too small, the inner diameter will be bumped and worn. The abrasion part is the main cause of the spring cracking. On the contrary, if the interval is too large, the spring will be deformed and cracked. -1.0mm or so. And free-length and longer springs (free-length/outer diameter greater than 4), please use step or guide pin to avoid collision with the guide pin when the spring body is distorted.

  (7) The outer diameter of the spring and the countersink hole and the gap between the countersink and the spring head are too small, which will cause the external expansion and friction of the countersink to cause concentrated cracking due to the spring contraction. The preferred countersunk hole diameter is spring outer diameter + 1.5mm . Please use the counterbore shape for the freely long spring.


  (8) When the length of the guide pin and the depth of the counterbore are short, the guide pin is too short, which will cause the guide pin head and the spring to wear and crack. The ideal length of the guide pin is set to more than 1/2 of the spring length, and please reverse C3 chamfer. Metal tension spring


  (9) When changing the direction or using the spring, the spring is distorted by force, causing the inner ring spring to be inserted into the outer ring (or the outer ring is inserted into the inner ring) to form a crack.


  (10) The use of springs in series The use of the series method causes the spring to bend and exceeds the length of the guide pin or counterbore, resulting in a crack of the same reason, and the weaker load due to the slight difference in the load of the spring itself will accept more The change in the amount of surface cracking.


  (11) Fragments and foreign matter mixed with foreign matter during use, the mixed foreign matter will form the useful coil part and only the other parts will be compressed. The actual useful number of coils will be reduced and the near surface will form high stress and crack. Please do not mix foreign matter in the spring. Fastening spring
